The centre of attraction for nature lovers situated just a 0.2 km away from our hotel and 1 km away from the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences atop the hill overlooking a valley along which quietly flows the River "Swarna". Udupi Sri Krishna temple, the popular pilgrimage center, is just 6 kms away from the Malpe beach. The great sage Madhwacharya, the founder of Dwaitha philosophy, found the statue of Lord Krishna and Lord Balarama embedded in clay balls on this beach. Malpe beach
The Beach is around 8 km from Manipal and is an ideal picnic place with its virtuous beach. It is an important port and fishing harbor along with this it is called a beach town. The beaches here are silvery with a breath taking view of the ocean. You can also take a boat ride to St Mary's island and view some basalt rock formations.
